Sigil Studio Policies
COVID-19
If you are or have been sick within two weeks prior to your appointment or live with someone who has been ill- you MUST reschedule your appointment.
If you’re traveling from a “hot-spot” or know you have come into contact with someone infected with Covid-19- we need you to reschedule your appointment.
Please come to your appointment alone- if you need assistance for mobility or other reasons- we understand. Please contact us ahead of time.
If you exhibit signs of Covid during or prior to your procedure we may stop the procedure and ask you to reschedule.
Like you - we’re thankful the threat of severe Covid is continuing to diminish. We’ll continue to monitor the situation and tailor our response accordingly. Because of the intimate setting of our practice, the nature of the work we do, and the developing nature of variants- we’ll continue to observe the above protocols for your safety and ours.
Booking Fees and Cancellation Policy:
In person consultations are always free- each work session requires a $100 booking fee. These fees will be applied towards the final cost of your procedure, unless appointments are missed.
Booking Fees for missed appointments are non-refundable. We require at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Giving less than 48 hours notice will result in loosing your fee. Do not assume we have received your request to cancel/reschedule without getting a confirmation response from the studio. If you do not have a confirmation- understand we have not received your notice. Clients may transfer their fee to another appointment ONE TIME.
Rescheduled appointments must be no more than 30 days from the original appointment. If the rescheduled appointment is more than 30 days out- a new booking fee will be necessary.
Lateness Policy:
Please call or text us at (828) 767-7599 if you’re running late for your appointment. Being more than 10 minutes late with no contact will immediately forfeit your booking fee and cancel your appointment. A new booking and appointment will then be required..
If you need to reschedule your first appointment:
We are happy to reschedule your initial appointment IF it’s done at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled visit. Any later than 48 hours and the deposit is forfeited. We allow one reschedule per client. It’s your sole responsibility to reschedule your missed appointment within 30 days. If your new appointment is more than 30 days after your missed appointment, a new booking will be required.
Previous Permanent Makeup or Scalp Micropigmentation Work:
Please disclose any previous work to us ahead of your appointment. If you’ve had previous PMU or SMP work we’ll need to devise a plan specific to your existing condition. Sigil Studio cannot remove previous work, but in many instances we’re able to use the previous treatment as a basis to move forward and create a result you’ll be proud to have.
If you’ve had previous work done on the area you intend for us to work with, and do not disclose it prior to your visit, so we may do a consultation, your deposit will be forfeited and the appointment will need to be re-scheduled.
Privacy:
We believe deeply in your right to privacy and bodily autonomy. We will require consent forms regarding your procedure, and this data will be kept on file for reference. We reserve our right to record your treatment session and activity while in our studio via video and audio. We will not disclose details of your procedure/confidential aspects of your treatment to third parties unless required by law, or while processing an insurance claim. The types of services we provide will be recorded and shared to financial institutions as part of your payment. We will NEVER share this data for marketing purposes to third parties.
